Come join us in celebrating our karate progress! We test quarterly to show our new skills and achieve the next belts. This is how students progress on their journey to black belt. Friday recitals are at the karate school while Saturday recitals are at Irving Elementary. Our style’s belt colors are white, gold, blue, orange, purple, green, brown, and black.

At the karate school our youngest students 3-7 year-old students will be showing off their kicks and punches. It is a blast to see what they have learned. Recital should last around 40 minutes and family and friends are most welcome!
Copy of NCAA TRACK CLEAN-UP FUNDRAISER
The karate school has been blessed to be able to participate in the University of Oregon athletic events as clean-up crews for fund raising. This has allowed our school to do so much from helping athletes at Nationals and Worlds as well as make our 5400 square foot facility better and better. This year's fund-raising goals are to help the school upgrade our entryway so it can look better. These clean-ups are BIG and to be successful we need at least 30 volunteers. Sign-up at the karate school today!!!!

The karate school has been blessed to be able to participate in the University of Oregon athletic events as clean-up crews for fund raising. This has allowed our school to do so much from helping athletes at Nationals and Worlds as well as make our 5400 square foot facility better and better. BLACK BELT RECITAL
The Black belt recital is closed to the public. All Shudokan black belts are invited to come and help judge our brown belt candidates. Contact Sensei Elida if you have any questions.

We are working at Autzen Stadium in the Box Seats, End Zone Terrace, Press Box, and Club at Autzen cleaning up post Duck football games. we are using the fund raisers this year to help purchase our current building. Help us buy our forever dojo! Please join us, as many hands make work light! Some families that attend church come to help before leaving for their services. The time the clean up takes is dependent on the number of volunteers that come help. Our fastest last year was 2 hours 15 minutes! We meet at the east gate of Autzen close to PK Park at 8:00 or you can find us in the buildings we are cleaning.
WEAPONS SEMINARS
We are excited to announce there will be two weapons seminars offered at the karate school the katas will feature both a tonfa and a bo. These seminars will be taught by Shihan Mike Franco from Trinity Martial Arts in Washington. Shihan Mike is a national and international gold medalist that excels in weapons. The seminars cost will be $30.00 for one or $50.00 for both seminars. Students attending the seminars will need to purchase their weapons which will be on sale for the month of October. Ask at the front desk for more details!

SHUDOKAN SCHOLARSHIP TOURNEY
The Shudokan Scholarship tournament is a fun tourney that is only for our style of karate. All the proceeds of the tournament go to the Shudokan scholarship fund that has given $1,000 dollars to over 250 black belts that train in Shudokan karate schools. The group from the karate school will be leaving Eugene Friday night for the Saturday competition. Talk to your instructor for more information!
