Prekarate/Kinder Karate

The Pre-Karate classes are 30 minutes long and are upbeat, fast pace classes that focus on listening skills and basic safety skills while learning karate. The Pre-Karate class is designed for 3-5 year olds and cost $59.00 a month for two 30 minute classes a week.

Kinder Karate classes are 45 minutes long and build on the skills learned in the Pre-Karate program. The children, while learning karate skills, also learn a wide variety of safety skills such as listening skills, fire safety, stranger danger, phone safety, computer safety, what to do when they are lost, and many, many more. Classes are twice a week for 5-7 year olds and cost $79.00 a month. Some 6-7 year olds are able to take an hour class if so then their tuition is the standard $99.00 per month.

The Family Karate Center’s name says it all. This karate school is completely focused on building strong families- from preschoolers to adults. Not only does Sensei Elida (the owner and manager) teach the technical aspects of karate, she also instructs her students with important character qualities, such as compassion, respect for others, and perseverance.
